Come home to yourself

From there, everything changes

The Life You Built May No Longer Fit the Woman You’re Becoming

There comes a point when the life you’ve built no longer feels fully aligned with the woman you’re becoming. You may appear capable on the outside while quietly feeling exhausted, disconnected, uncertain, or stuck in survival mode underneath it all.

I believe midlife isn’t a crisis—it’s an invitation to reconnect to yourself in a deeper, more grounded way. Because when the nervous system feels safe, clarity returns. And from there, meaningful change becomes possible.

I'm Devon Vernetti, DACM — a Doctor of Acupuncture & Chinese Medicine, life coach, and midlife reinvention guide. For more than 15 years I've helped women over 40 move through stress, burnout, and major life transitions — and through my own seasons of reinvention, I learned that lasting change doesn't begin with pressure. It begins with coming home to yourself.

Who I Am

A woman with short brown hair sitting at a wooden table, writing in a book with a pen. She is smiling, wearing a green dress and jewelry, and has a mug and a lit candle on the table. Behind her are shelves with books and decorative items, and sunlight coming through a nearby window.

I didn't create the Root to Rise Method™ from theory alone. Over 15 years of working with women in Traditional Chinese Medicine and coaching, I noticed the same pattern again and again — women who were functioning, achieving, and holding everything together on the outside while feeling quietly exhausted, disconnected, or lost underneath. My own life eventually brought me face-to-face with that same truth. Moving through my own seasons of reinvention, identity shifts, and nervous system exhaustion, I discovered that lasting transformation doesn't begin with pressure or perfection. It begins with safety — with learning to reconnect to your body, your voice, and your inner clarity. That realization became the foundation for the Root to Rise Method™, a five-phase approach blending Chinese medicine wisdom, nervous system healing, emotional processing, and practical transformation tools to help women create meaningful, sustainable change.

“Healing begins the moment we stop forcing and start listening.”
